Molten Metal Holding Capacity:
Aluminum = 7,000 lbs (50 cubic feet x 140lbs per cubic foot for aluminum)
Lead = 35,000 lbs.

- Furnace and any components will be built new upon your order.
- Furnace will be pre-assembled and tested prior to shipping.
- Built of very heavy duty materials, easy to operate, require little maintenance.
- Design capacity = continuous metal processing, 7 days a week

Equipment
1.a. Furnace Barrel:
- 50 cubic foot capacity
- Cone shaped
- Mounted on Tilt Frame with 3 Suspension Points: 1 x Tail Shaft Bearing + 2 x Carrier Rolls with Riding Ring on Cone

1.b. Refractory:
- Lined with 6” thick castable
- Cured at 1500 degrees F during assembly test
- 3000 degrees F compatible (for molten lead contact)
- Anchored in with S/S V-Anchors welded to drum
- 1/4” insulating material between refractory and steel shell

2. Door:
- 48” door opening
- Burner mounted in door, flue exit installed
- Hydraulic power unit opens/closes door

3. Motor Drive:
- 15hp heavy-duty Gear Box/Motor
- Provides rotation of Barrel thru chain/sprocket
- Speed Drive from 1 to 6 RPMS
- 480V / 3 phase / 60Hz

4. Hydraulic Drive:
- 7.5 hp Hydraulic Power unit (480V / 3 phase / 60Hz)
- Furnishes Fluid to Two (2) Cylinders to Raise and Lower (tilt) Barrel to pour off Molten Metal and Slag into Crucible or Molds provided by Customer
- Also, Opens/Closes furnace door

5. Burner:
- 3 million BTU/hr
- Natural Gas or Propane fired

6. Control Panel:
- Pre-wired and tested. Operates all functions of Rotary Furnace.

7. Smoke/Fume Collection:
- Custom fume hood included
- Fabricated from 3/16” 304 Stainless Steel plate
- Duct work from hood to baghouse by customer

8. Weights and Dimensions:
- Approximate total system weight = 44,000 lbs.
