Harry Phipps
Harry founded H.E. Phipps Co. Inc. in 1987. At the time of his death, he was a 60-year veteran of the aluminum industry — a career that began in 1955 as a metallurgical engineer for Alcoa.
Over the decades that followed, Harry managed casting, rolling, and coil coating plants, and helped develop Reynolds' Particle Sheet process. He ended his corporate career as Executive Vice President of the largest Hazelett casting operation of the day before starting the company that carries his name.
Harry passed away on December 9, 2015. His technical knowledge and reputation for straight dealing remain the foundation the company is built on.
